On Saturday Feb 4. 2023 at 6 am the temperature: Boston: -9 °F, Montreal -20 °F
Significant Oil generation kept the lights on.
Note the gray line in the middle of graph when Oil usage increased. This during reduced Natural Gas usage, reduced Imports, dropping Temperatures, and increased Load
The 'NET IMP-EXP 5M' is the Net Imports-Exports to/from Canada and New York State.
The 'TEMP' is a weighted average temperature for New England calculated by ISO NE.

'Actual Load' is the HV grid load without any Pumped Storage Load.
'NET IMP-EXP 5M' is the Net of Imports and Exports into New England. They are to/from Canada and/or New York State.
'SOLAR' is Larger-scale solar connected to the High Voltage (HV) grid.
'Load including BTM' includes an estimate of Behind The Meter (BTM) Generation/Load -- mostly residential (Roof-Top) Solar.

Of note is that at Feb. 4 7:35 am ISO NE is actually Exporting Power: 1,381 MW -- to Canada.
'SALBRYNB' is the New Brunswick, CA interface
'HQHIGATE' is the HydroQuebec interface/inverter at Highgate, Vermont
'HQ_P1_P2' is the interface for the line from Radisson, Quebec to Ayer, Massachusetts (outside of Boston)
External Interfaces with New York State
ISO NE is Importing over 2,000 MW at some point.
'SHOREHAM' is from Shoreham, Long Island to Connecticut and is an Export.
'NORTHPORT' is from Northport, NY to Norwalk, Connecticut.
'ROSETON' is six tie-lines from New York to Vermont and Massachusetts.
